Local Authority Engine – Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service

By subscribing to the Local Authority Engine (the “Service”), you authorize us to install, configure, and maintain our proprietary data synthesis software on your self-hosted WordPress website. The Service automatically aggregates third-party consumer-relevant data (such as macroeconomic metrics, market trends, or clinical research) and generates informational content templates inside your WordPress dashboard.

2. Human-in-the-Loop & Compliance Accountability

  • Editorial Review Mandate: You acknowledge that all content generated by the Service is delivered strictly as a Draft within your website database. It is a fundamental condition of this agreement that you—the Subscriber—must manually review, edit, approve, and publish every post.

  • Regulatory Compliance: If you operate in a regulated industry (including but not limited to financial services under the Financial Markets Authority or health services under regional clinical boards), you assume 100% legal liability for ensuring that any content published via the Service complies with your industry’s professional standards, legal disclosure mandates, and advertising rules. We are not responsible for any regulatory non-compliance resulting from your published text.

3. No Professional Advice Disclaimer

The software converts raw data into general informational summaries for consumer engagement purposes only. The output generated by the Service does not constitute formal financial, investment, legal, or medical advice. You agree to ensure that standard consumer disclaimers remain visible on your website’s insights channel.

4. Asset Ownership & Data Hosting

  • Your Platform, Your Data: The software operates natively inside your website infrastructure. All generated drafts, published articles, metadata, and newsletter subscriber records belong entirely to you and live on your own database.

  • Software License: We grant you a non-transferable, revocable license to run the software on your designated website domain for the duration of your active paid subscription.

5. Fees, Onboarding, and Cancellation

  • Billing Cycles: You agree to pay the one-off non-refundable Setup Fee upon registration to cover server environment mapping and API integration. Ongoing subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.

  • No Lock-in Contracts: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your background generation cues and update pipelines will be deactivated at the conclusion of your current billing period. Published content remains your permanent property.

6. Technical Requirements & Service Interruptions

The Service requires a self-hosted WordPress installation running an active, secure theme environment. While we handle ongoing background updates to maintain API connectivity with our models, we are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party hosting failures, structural source format changes on monitored platforms, or conflicts introduced by external plugins installed on your server.
